ATLANTA, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of AGL Resources (NYSE: [ AGL ]) today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share on the company's common stock. The dividend will be paid September 1, 2011 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 19, 2011. This marks the 255th consecutive quarterly dividend the company has paid since 1948.
