JENKINSVILLE, S.C.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G), principal subsidiary of SCANA Corporation (NYSE:SCG), has completed its scheduled refueling and maintenance outage at V.C. Summer Nuclear Station. The plant entered the outage April 15 and returned to service May 31.

The outage, which followed an 18-month operating cycle, was the 19th for V.C. Summer Station since the plant began commercial operation in 1984.
