Each of Dreyfus Municipal Income, Inc. (NYX: DMF), Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. (NYSE: DSM), and Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. (NYSE: LEO) announced that Daniel A. Barton has become its sole primary portfolio manager. Mr. Barton has been a primary portfolio manager for Dreyfus Municipal Income, Inc. since July 13, 2011, and a primary portfolio manager for each of Dreyfus Strategic Municipal Bond Fund, Inc. and Dreyfus Strategic Municipals, Inc. since November 18, 2011. The Dreyfus Corporation (aDreyfusa) continues to be the investment adviser for each fund.

Mr. Barton has been employed by Dreyfus since December 2009. He is a Senior Analyst for Tax-Sensitive Strategies at Standish Mellon Asset Management Company LLC (aStandisha), an affiliate of Dreyfus, specializing in education, airports, tobacco securitization, utilities and corporate backed bonds. Mr. Barton joined Standish in 2005 from Columbia Management Group, where he was a municipal credit analyst for over four years. Previously, he was a chemical engineer with Stone & Webster in Boston, MA. Mr. Barton earned an M.B.A. from Bentley College and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, the Boston Municipal Analysts Forum and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has ten years of investment experience.
