Franklin Street Properties Corp. Acquires Two Office Buildings in Plano, Texas

WAKEFIELD, MA--(Marketwire - March 10, 2011) - Franklin Street Properties Corp. ("FSP", "its", "our" or "we") (NYSE Amex: [ FSP ]), an investment firm specializing in real estate, announced today its acquisition of two office buildings in Plano, Texas for a purchase price of $37,000,000. Completed in 1999 and 2008, the buildings are adjacent to each other and located at 5100 and 5160 Tennyson Parkway, contain an aggregate of approximately 202,600 rentable square feet and are 100% leased.

This acquisition brings our total portfolio of properties to 34 and we continue to be very optimistic about the opportunities that are presenting themselves to acquire additional properties in 2011.
