Energen Board Elects Five Officers at Oil and Gas Subsidiary
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Board of Directors of Energen Corporation (NYSE: EGN) today elected five new officers at its oil and gas exploration and production subsidiary, Energen Resources Corporation (ERC).

- Gary Brink, General Manager of San Juan Basin operations in New Mexico and Colorado, has been named Vice President a' San Juan Basin Operations. Brink has been with ERC for more than 13 years. Prior to joining Energen, he worked for 21 years at Burlington Resources. Brink lives in Farmington, N.M.
- Gene Cash, General Manager of Acquisitions and Engineering, has been named Vice President a" Acquisitions and Reservoir Engineering. Cash has been with ERC for more than 14 years. Prior to joining Energen, Cash worked at Amoco Production Company and AmSouth Bank. Cash lives in Birmingham, Ala.
- Joe Niederhofer, General Manager of Permian Basin operations in West Texas, has been named Vice President a' Permian Basin Operations. Niederhofer has been with ERC for more than 24 years. Prior to joining Energen, Niederhofer worked at TRW Exploration and Production. Niederhofer lives in Midland, Texas.
- Paul Rote, General Manager of Land, has been named Vice President a" Land. Rote has been with ERC for more than 12 years. Prior to joining Energen, Rote worked for 15 years at ARCO Oil and Gas Company. Rote lives in Vestavia Hills, Ala.
- Ronald Tisdale, General Manager of Geology, has been named Vice President a" Geology and Exploration. Tisdale has been with the company for more than 25 years. Prior to joining Energen, Tisdale was staff geologist at Union Oil Company for 11 years. Tisdale lives in Birmingham, Ala.
