BlackRock Insured Municipal Term Trust, Inc. to Mature on Schedule

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--BlackRock Advisors, LLC and the Board of Directors (the aBoarda) of BlackRock Insured Municipal Term Trust, Inc. (NYSE:BMT) (the aFunda) today announced that the Board has adopted a plan of liquidation for the Fund and that the Fund will mature, as scheduled, on December 31, 2010.

In connection with its maturity, the Funda™s common stock will continue to trade the aregular waya on the New York Stock Exchange through December 9, 2010 and will be suspended from trading before the opening on December 10, 2010.
