NSTAR Announces Third Quarter Earnings Release Date and Webcast at Edison Electric Institutea?s 45th Financial Conference

BOSTON--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--NSTAR (NYSE:NST) announced today that it will release its third quarter 2010 financial results on Friday, October 29, 2010 after market hours.

On October 18, 2010, NSTAR and Northeast Utilities announced a merger of equals transaction that will create the largest utility in New England, with an enterprise value of $17.5 billion as of October 15, 2010.
