Lazard Recruits Franois Kayat and Pierre Tattevin as Managing Directors
PARIS--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Lazard Ltd (NYSE: LAZ) announced today it has recruited Franois Kayat and Pierre Tattevin as Managing Directors.
Based in Paris, both of the new Managing Directors have extensive Mergers and Acquisitions experience in France and internationally. Their appointment will further strengthen the Financial Advisory team at Lazard, which consists of 131 Managing Directors worldwide.
Franois Kayat (age 48 a" ESCP Europe) was previously Managing Director at Cr©dit Agricole CIB (Calyon), and Head of Investment Banking. He formerly worked at Kleinwort Benson, and then at Credit Suisse where he was Head of Mergers and Acquisitions in France before becoming joint Director of the banka™s investment banking business in France. He subsequently became Chairman of Mergers and Acquisitions for Credit Suisse in Europe.
Pierre Tattevin (age 53 a" HEC, Columbia) was previously Managing Director at Rothschild & Cie for ten years where he played an active part in developing the firm's domestic and international financial advisory and M&A businesses. After two years as corporate lawyer with Cleary Gottlieb in Paris and New York, Pierre Tattevin first joined Lazard in 1982 and became a Managing Director in 1995, before moving to Rothschild in 2000.
