Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific Fund, Inc. and The Malaysia Fund, Inc. Announce Results of Annual Meetings of Stockholders

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific Fund, Inc. (NYSE: APF) and The Malaysia Fund, Inc. (NYSE: MAY), each a closed-end management investment company, held their Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the aMeetinga) on June 16, 2010, at the offices of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc., 522 Fifth Avenue, New York, New York 10036.

Frank L. Bowman, James F. Higgins and Manuel H. Johnson were elected as Class III directors of each Fund to serve for a term expiring on the date on which the Annual Meeting of Stockholders is held in the year 2013.

A non-binding stockholder proposal recommending that the Board of Directors of each Fund take the steps necessary to adopt an interval fund structure for each Fund received favorable votes from less than a majority of the outstanding shares of each Fund, and more than a majority of the shares represented at the Meeting for each Fund.

There were no other matters considered or voted upon at the Meeting.
