Clearford Industries Inc. Announces Closing of Private Placement
OTTAWA, June 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Clearford Industries Inc. ("Clearford" or the "Company", TSX-V:CLI) today announced it has closed the final tranche of its private placement as announced on May 13, 2010 and will cease to accept further orders under this private placement as of close of business today. A total of $1,444,501 has been subscribed for under this private placement as of the time of this release, which includes the 1st tranche which closed on May 28, 2010, at a price of $0.10 per equity unit ("Units"). Each Unit consists of one (1) common share and one (1) warrant to acquire an additional common share with an exercise price of $0.15 per common share and a two year term, which commences on the closing date of the private placement. The common shares issued will be subject to a restriction from trading on the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSX-V") for four months from the closing date in accordance with TSX-V rules and regulations for private placements. Proceeds will be applied to fund the Company's internal operations and working capital requirements.
Upon the closing of this final tranche the Company has 40,151,175 shares outstanding and 54,596,185 shares outstanding on a fully-diluted basis.
