ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - October 5, 2009) - CompuCredit Corporation, a subsidiary of CompuCredit Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: [ CCRT ]), today announced that Shannon Johnston, Vice President of Global Infrastructure Services, has been named 2009 Woman of the Year in Technology for medium-sized businesses by Women in Technology, a non-profit organization focused on promoting the advancement of women in the field of technology in Georgia.

The Women of the Year in Technology Awards recognize women in the Georgia technology community who have contributed their talents and leadership within their organizations and their communities, and actively support the development of other women in technology. The award winners were announced at an awards gala held on October 1st in Atlanta, Georgia.
