Run of River Power Announces $1.0 million Private Placement

 VANCOUVER, July 24, 2009 /CNW/ - Run of River Power Inc. ("ROR Power" or "the Company") (TSX-V: ROR) today announced a non-brokered private placement of up to 5,900,000 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.17 per unit, for gross proceeds of up to $1.0 million (the "Offering"). Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant (the "Warrants"). Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.26 per share for 24 months from the date of closing of the private placement. The common shares issued upon closing of the offering will be subject to a four-month hold period from the date of issue. Proceeds of the placement will be used for the continued development of the Company's renewable energy projects and for general working capital purposes. The private placement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. About Run of River Power Inc.
