AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - January 29, 2009) - American Physicians Service Group, Inc. ("APS") (NASDAQ: [ AMPH ]) will present at the New York Society of Security Analysts ("NYSSA") 13th Annual Insurance Industry Conference on February 9, 2009, at approximately 11:55 a.m. Eastern Time. This event will be held in the New York City offices of NYSSA, 1177 Avenue of the Americas, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10036.

The Company's President, Tim LaFrey, will be presenting along with the Chief Financial Officer, Marc Zimmermann. Their presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
