Allstate Announces Leadership Change at Allstate Financial

NORTHBROOK, Ill.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Allstate Corporation (NYSE:ALL) today announced that James E. Hohmann, president and chief executive officer of Allstate Financial, will leave the company effective January 5, 2009. George Ruebenson, president, Allstate Protection, will take responsibility for the key operational areas while a thorough search for a new leader is conducted. Ruebenson has been with Allstate for 38 years and has consistently led teams to achieve business results through difficult market conditions.
