A medical spa in Saco appears to have recently closed without warning. In fact, the Secretary of State confirms the business has not been in good standing with the state since early November, but as CBS13 News found,

The Saco Medical Spa in Maine abruptly closed its doors without any prior notice to its clients, leaving many with unusable gift cards and prepaid treatments. The closure was discovered when clients arrived for their scheduled appointments to find the spa locked and dark. The spa's website and voicemail have been disabled, and attempts to contact the owner, Dr. Peter Koltis, have been unsuccessful. Clients like Jennifer Smith and Jennifer Gagnon expressed frustration over the lack of communication and the financial losses they incurred. The Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation confirmed that the spa's license expired in May 2023, and there are no records of any disciplinary actions against Dr. Koltis. This sudden closure has left many clients out of pocket and without the services they had paid for in advance.
