Bajaj Finance has decided to exit the co-branded credit card space, ending its eight-year-old tie-up with RBL Bank and its two-year partnership with DBS Bank India.
Bajaj Finance has decided to exit the co-branded credit card market, ending its partnerships with DBS Bank and RBL Bank. The company announced that it will not renew its agreements with these banks, which are set to expire in the next few months. Bajaj Finance had entered the credit card segment in 2018 with RBL Bank and later in 2019 with DBS Bank. The decision to exit this space comes as Bajaj Finance aims to focus on its core lending business, which includes consumer durable loans, personal loans, and other financial products. The move is part of a strategic shift to streamline operations and concentrate on areas where the company sees more growth potential.
