A section of Route 5 in Enfield, Connecticut, was closed due to a serious accident involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Route 5 and New King Street. The incident, which occurred around 6:30 p.m., resulted in the motorcyclist being seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
