Partners Real Estate Investment Trust Announces Change to Board of Trustees

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 16, 2013) -Partners Real Estate Investment Trust (the "REIT" or "Partners REIT") (TSX:PAR.UN)(TSX:PAR.DB)(TSX:PAR.DB.A)(TSX:PAR.DB.B) announces that Mr. Paul Dykeman has submitted his resignation from the board of trustees. Mr. Dykeman indicated that his resignation is for personal reasons.

Mr. Lou Maroun, on behalf of the board, expressed the following; "It is with regret that the board accepted Mr. Dykeman's resignation which is effective as of April 11th. We wish to extend a sincere thank you to Paul for his very diligent work as a trustee of the REIT, Chair of its Audit Committee and a member of its Investment Committee."
