Omega Advisors U.S. Capital Appreciation Fund Announces Amendment to Normal Course Issuer Bid

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 9, 2012) - Omega Advisors U.S. Capital Appreciation Fund (TSX:OUS.UN) (the "Fund"), today announced an amendment to the normal course issuer bid (the "Bid") for its class A units ("Units").

As at November 8, 2012, the Fund has 3,835,051 Units issued and outstanding. Under the amendment to the Bid, the Fund may purchase up to 330,875 Units in aggregate from the period beginning on September 4, 2012 and ending on September 3, 2013 representing 10% of the Fund's public float of 3,308,751, and may not, in any 30 day period, purchase more than 76,701 Units representing 2% of the Units issued and outstanding. All Units purchased pursuant to the Bid will be cancelled. Unit purchases will be made only through facilities of the TSX and will be in accordance with the TSX's rules and policies.

The Bid commenced on September 4, 2012 and will terminate on the earlier of the date on which the Fund completes its purchases pursuant to the Bid or September 3, 2013. Under the Bid, the Fund has purchased a total of 46,200 Units at an average price of $9.69.
