Skanska has signed a design/bid/build contract with the United States Army Corps of Engineers to construct the third phase of the Lackland Ambulatory Care Center project at Joint Base San Antonio (Lackland) in San Antonio, Texas. The contract value is USD 88 M, about SEK 600 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building in the third quarter 2012.
The project covers a 27900 square meter full service medical treatment facility. Construction for the project is scheduled to begin December 2012 and is expected to be completed by September 2014.
