Bayshore most recently announced second generation availability of its Bayshore SCADA Firewall™, and in February, the company announced a strategic technology integration with BAE Systems to deliver a powerful combination of Bayshore's Layer 7 internal firewall technology with BAE's ultra-secure STOP OS to deliver unmatched protection for BAE defense customers.
"Today's advanced threats are ongoing and actively compromising American government and private enterprise," Dr. Laffer said. "I am very impressed with the innovation and effectiveness behind Bayshore Networks technology to defend our nation's most critical assets, and look forward to contributing to the company's growth and success in an advisory capacity."
Steinberg concurred, adding that today's unpredictable and increasingly sophisticated advanced threat landscape has many large private sector enterprises exploring and adopting information security and assurance tools like Bayshore's next generation internal firewall, currently used to protect government, critical infrastructure, utilities and SCADA Industrial Control Systems.
"Bayshore's strong track record for security innovation and effectiveness make it a significant technology for any organization looking to fortify and protect its own internal infrastructure," Steinberg said.
