SOUTH HILL, Va., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Community Bank (OTC: CZYB) announces the appointment of James "Jimmy" A. Butts, III as Secretary of its Board of Directors. Having served on the Board since 2008, Butts assumes the officer position at the May meeting.

Butts is a practicing attorney in the family firm of Butts and Butts, based in South Hill since 1949. He earned his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University and his law degree at the University of Richmond's T.C. Williams Law School. A lifelong resident of the community, he and his wife Ursula reside in South Hill.
