Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires BenefitLink Resource Group, Inc.
ITASCA, Ill., March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: [ AJG ]) today announced the acquisition of BenefitLink Resource Group, Inc., in Calgary, Canada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 2001, BenefitLink Resource Group, Inc. is an employee benefits insurance broker and consultant that provides a full range of group employee benefits and pension products and services to their clients throughout Canada. They also design, implement, communicate and help manage their clients' group insurance and retirement savings programs. They specialize in the energy, energy service and transportation industries. Kevin Rome and his associates will continue to operate at their current location under the direction of William Ziebell, Regional Executive Vice President of Gallagher's employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
