CYS Investments, Inc. Announces Closing of Common Stock Offering

NEW YORK--([ ])--CYS Investments, Inc. (NYSE: CYS) (the "Company") announced that it closed a public offering of 28,750,000 shares of its common stock, including 3,750,000 shares pursuant to an option that was fully exercised by the underwriters, at a public offering price of $13.28 per share for total net proceeds of approximately $377,287,500, after deduction of underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated expenses.

The Company intends to invest the net proceeds of the offering in Agency RMBS and for general corporate purposes.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., UBS Securities LLC, and BofA Merrill Lynch are joint bookrunners for the offering.
