VALLEY FORGE, Pa.--([ ])--Directors of AmeriGas Propane, Inc., general partner of AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: APU), have declared a quarterly partnership distribution of $0.7625 per limited partnership unit, payable February 17, 2012 to unitholders of record February 10, 2012.

The annualized distribution represents a 3% increase to $3.05 per limited partnership unit from the current $2.96 per limited partnership unit. Eugene V.N. AmeriGas is the nationas largest retail propane marketer, serving over two million customers in all 50 states from over 1,200 locations. UGI Corporation, through subsidiaries, is the sole General Partner and owns 28% of the Partnership. An affiliate of Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. owns 34% of the Partnership and the public owns the remaining 38%.
