CHICAGO, Dec. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DTF Tax-Free Income Inc. (NYSE: [ DTF ]) (the "Fund") is announcing today a special taxable distribution of 6.0116 cents per share, payable on December 23, 2011 to its common shareholders of record on December 19, 2011. The income represents taxable market discount investment income and net long term capital gains realized by the Fund. The breakdown of the distribution on a per-share basis is as follows:
