NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Western Asset Intermediate Muni Fund Inc. (NYSE Amex: SBI), Western Asset Managed Municipals Fund Inc. (NYSE: MMU), Western Asset Municipal Defined Opportunity Fund Inc. (NYSE: MTT), Western Asset Municipal High Income Fund Inc. (NYSE: MHF) and Western Asset Municipal Partners Fund Inc. (NYSE: MNP) today announced a revised portfolio management team composed of Stephen A. Walsh, Western Asset Managementa™s Chief Investment Officer, Robert Amodeo and David Fare. This change is effective immediately. Western Asset has always believed in managing portfolios on a team basis. The Municipal Team consists of 12 individuals (portfolio managers and research analysts) with an average work experience of over 20 years and is further supported by the broader investment management team at Western Asset.
