Wed, April 6, 2011 BMO Investments Inc. Announces Name Changes to BMO Global High Yield Bond Fund
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - BMO Investments Inc. today announced a change to the name and the investment strategy of BMO Global High Yield Bond Fund (the "Fund"), which includes BMO Guardian Global High Yield Bond Fund Advisor Series and BMO Guardian Global High Yield Bond Fund Series F.
Effective April 15, 2011, the name of the Fund, Advisor Series and Series F will change to "BMO Global Strategic Bond Fund," "BMO Guardian Global Strategic Bond Fund Advisor Series" and "BMO Guardian Global Strategic Bond Fund Series F."
After the change, the Fund's investment strategies will state that the Fund invests primarily in global fixed income securities, including investment grade securities with a credit rating of BBB or higher, high yield securities with a credit rating below BBB, and emerging market debt.
"These changes are intended to provide investors with greater clarity regarding the Fund's investment strategies, which permit the Fund to invest in a broad mix of global fixed income securities that include, but are not limited to, high yield bonds," said Serge Pepin, Director of Investments with BMO Investments Inc.
