DALLAS--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Hicks Acquisition Company II, Inc. (OTCBB: HKACU) (the aCompanya) announced that, commencing November 29, 2010, holders of the securities comprising each unit sold in the Companya™s initial public offering of 15,000,000 units completed on October 14, 2010 (the aIPOa), may elect to separately trade the common stock and warrants included in the units. Those units not separated will continue to trade on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board quotation system under the symbol aHKACUa and each of the common stock and warrants are expected to trade on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board quotation system under the symbols aHKACa and aHKACWa, respectively.

The Company also announced that the underwriters in the IPO did not exercise their option to purchase up to an additional 2,250,000 units to cover over-allotments within the 45-day period granted to them by the Company.
