Constellation Energy Receives Top Rating on Human Rights Campaign Foundation's Corporate Equality Index

The CEI, which rates 844 American companies and law firms on a scale of 0 to 100 percent, is focused on a companya™s treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees, consumers and investors. Constellation Energy routinely implements best practices to help cultivate and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout the organization. The 2011 edition of the CEI reports that 338 businesses achieved a perfect score, an 11 percent increase over last year, when the number was 305. For the first time, the 2011 CEI scored all Fortune 500 companies, including those that did not voluntary participate. These ratings are based on publicly available information as well as information submitted to HRC from unofficial LGBT employee groups or individual employees.
