


ZURICH--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--The Board of Directors of ACE Limited (NYSE: ACE) today declared a quarterly dividend equal to $0.33 payable on October 22, 2010, to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 1, 2010, subject to a required filing with the Swiss Commercial Register. Dividend payments will be made in United States dollars (USD) by the companya™s transfer agent.
The companya™s par value is currently 31.21 Swiss francs (CHF) per share, and in connection with the dividend the par value per share will be reduced on the record date by the CHF equivalent of $0.33 based on the USD/CHF rate published on September 28, 2010. This will be the second of four par value reduction installments as approved by the companya™s shareholders on May 19, 2010.
