TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 1, 2009) - Brownstone Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BWN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gerry Feldman C.A. as Chief Financial Officer of Brownstone, effective today. Until joining the Company, Mr. Feldman was a partner of Schwartz Levitsky Feldman LLP, Chartered Accountants, a firm which provides a full range of professional services including but not limited to auditing and accounting, corporate and personal tax planning, management advisory services and business investigations. Mr. Feldman specialized in audits of brokerage houses, public companies, Investment Councilor and Limited Market Dealers, Mutual Fund Dealers and Mutual Funds. Mr. Feldman also served and continues to serve as a director of other public and private companies.The appointment of Mr. Feldman remains subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

Along with his appointment, pursuant to Brownstone's stock option plan and subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, the Board has approved the grant of 200,000 stock options, exercisable at $0.75 per share for a term of up to five years. The options shall vest quarterly over a period of 18 months.

Brownstone also wishes to extend its appreciation and thanks to Mr. Goldberg, the outgoing Chief Financial Officer of Brownstone.
