TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 10, 2009) - Tribute Minerals Inc. (the "Company" or "Tribute") (TSX VENTURE:TBM) wishes to announce that it has confirmed the depth extent of two previously identified targets generated using the V-TEM system last year on what is known as Block 2 of its McFaulds property. The targets named the 'Sunday' anomalies are now showing a significant depth extension through the use of the next generation Z-TEM airborne survey. The Z-TEM airborne has been proven to image to depths exceeding 1000 metres and the targets identified using this system are coincident with the targets previously generated from surface to the 400 metre level by the V-TEM airborne system. Tribute expects to announce the commencement of drill testing of the anomalies within the next few weeks after consultation with the local First Nation has been completed.

The power point presentation on these targets which will be delivered at today's Annual General and Special Meeting to be held at the Board of Trade in Toronto at 4:30 pm will be available on the Company's website as of September 11, 2009. This presentation outlines the targets generated by the V-TEM and Z-TEM technologies, and is a good representation of the modelling power and targeting capabilities available to junior exploration companies with today's advanced exploration technology.
