Hocking County, OH Chooses Sparta Commercial's Municipal Lease Program

NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. (OTCBB: SRCO) today announced that Hocking County, Ohio has chosen the Sparta Municipal Lease Program as the funding source for the County Sheriff's vehicle replacement plan. The Sheriff's Department is replacing older Dodge Charger police cruisers with the latest model of the vehicle that has become a preference for many law enforcement agencies.

Hocking County has joined a steadily increasing number of jurisdictions around the country, including three others in Ohio, to select Sparta's Municipal Lease Program as the financing source for the acquisition of their essential equipment. The Sparta Program enables city, county, and state agencies to lease, rather than purchase, a variety of essential-use equipment, and thereby spread the cost over time instead of having to pay through the traditional "all up-front" method. The Sparta alternative eases the budgetary strain that so many municipalities are experiencing in the current economic climate.

Coughlin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is providing the vehicles, and Nolan Gierhart, Coughlin's Fleet Manager, commented, "This is the second transaction we've done with Sparta, with another one pending, and we couldn't be more pleased with how knowledgeable and professional their Municipal Leasing staff are."
