WHAT:

To announce $10 million in grants and program funds for the city of Philadelphia through the CityLIFTSM program a" an initiative designed to help people achieve homeownership.

CityLIFTSMwill include a two-day event that will take place September 21 and 22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center where prospective homebuyers may qualify for up to $15,000 in down payment assistance.

In addition, prospective home buyers will be able to take advantage of home buyer education sessions and tours of selected residential properties that are available for sale in the City of Philadelphia. 1637 N. 32nd Street is one of the homes to be featured.

Wells Fargo will collaborate with the City of Philadelphia and the non-profit organization NeighborWorks America and its local affiliate, New Kensington Community Development Corporation, to execute the program.

CityLIFTSMis modeled after Wells Fargoas highly successful NeighborhoodLIFTSM program, the first of its kind in the banking industry.
