Wells Fargo Relocates to New Branch in Tokyo

TOKYO--([ ])--In a move to enhance services for its growing number of Global Financial Institutions (GFI) customers in Japan, Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) announced today it has moved to a new, larger branch location in Tokyo, Japan. Located in the center of Tokyoas financial district, the new Wells Fargo office will help to expand the companyas existing GFI operations which provide payment, Yen depository accounts and trade processing services to Japanese and other international-based banks.

Nearly 40 team members from Wells Fargoas International group will be based in the new branch, located at Marunouchi Trust Tower Main 24th Floor, 1-8-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan. In addition, almost a dozen team members from Wells Fargo Securities will also be based at the new location, providing Wells Fargoas customers with greater access to both GFI and securities and capital market services.

As part of Wells Fargoas International Group, GFI provides banking services to financial institutions, multilateral organizations and international agencies worldwide, including payments, collections, trade services and outsourcing, deposits, credit, foreign exchange, and risk management.
