CapLease Announces Public Offering of Common Stock

NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--CapLease, Inc. (NYSE: LSE)announced today the commencement of a public offering of 10,000,000 shares of its common stock. CapLease intends to grant the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,500,000 shares of its common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Citi and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint book-running managers of the offering.

The shares of common stock will be issued pursuant to a registration statement that has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
