COLUMBUS, Ohio--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Glimcher Realty Trust (NYSE: GRT) announced the appointment of Damion Sankovich to Vice President, Leasing.

Sankovich joined Glimcher in 2004 as Specialty Leasing Manager at River Valley Mall. In 2005, he was promoted to the corporate office to take on the role of Leasing Representative and has since been promoted to the roles of Regional Leasing Manager and, most recently, Regional Director, Leasing. In his new role Sankovich will continue to lead the leasing efforts at several key Glimcher assets, including Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus, Ohio, WestShore Plaza in Tampa, Florida, Merritt Square Mall in Merritt Island, Florida and Tulsa Promenade in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Damion will also manage several members of the leasing team.
Sankovich graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology; he also is a Certified Leasing Specialist.
